Chief Administrative Officer
Forrest Shoaf is responsible for compliance and administrative matters at Resurgent. His background includes legal and investment banking experience, as well as a dozen years of military service. He served twelve years active duty with the 101st Airborne Division and the 2nd Infantry Division and as a member of the West Point English Department faculty. After his military career, he practiced law in Nashville, Tennessee as a member of Bass, Berry & Sims. In 1995, Mr. Shoaf took a leave of absence from his law firm to serve as General Counsel to the Alexander for President campaign. At the conclusion of the campaign, he joined J. C. Bradford & Co. as a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Department, focusing on merger and acquisition work. Subsequent to the sale of that firm, he worked briefly for Morgan Keegan, and Avondale Partners in a similar capacity. Mr. Shoaf joined Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, Inc. in 2005 as the Chief Legal Officer. In addition to those duties, he served five quarters as the Chief Financial Officer. Forrest holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at West Point, an M.A. from Vanderbilt University and a J.D. from Harvard University.
